Am Freitag, den 02. Oktober 2015, war es wieder soweit. (Englisch)
Der Präsident der HPol lud zum jährlichen Treffen von Polizeiattachés und Verbindungsbeamten ein und zahlreiche Kollegen der Berliner Botschaften nahmen diese Einladung gerne an.
Die Verwendungszeit der Polizeiattachés in Deutschland ist meist auf 4 Jahre begrenzt. Aufgrund dieser regelmäßigen Personalfluktuation und im Interesse guter internationaler Beziehungen ist ein regelmäßiges Treffen mehr als sinnvoll.
Unser Vizepräsident, Herr Dr. Christe-Zeyse, begrüßte alle Gäste herzlich im Senatssaal. Ohne Umschweife ging es dann zur Lehnitzschleuse. Dort erwartete die Gäste unsere WSP 1, welche mit vielen „Ahs“ und „Ohs“ bewundert wurde. Die schwimmende Kommandostation von knapp 25m Länge beeindruckte wirklich sehr und wurde durch erfahrene Kollegen der Wasserschutzpolizei fachkundig vorgestellt. Nach der „Technikschau“ ging es unter Deck in den Besprechungsraum und Herr Schmidt, als Leiter des Internationalen Zentrums, stellte Highlights der brandenburgischen Polizei im Allgemeinen und der HPol im Speziellen vor.
Nach knappen 2 Stunden auf der WSP 1 war es Zeit für eine Stärkung. Der Caterer zauberte ein 3-Gänge Menü in der Cafeteria, welches sich mehr als sehen lassen konnte und erneut „Ahs“ und „Ohs“ zu Tage brachte.
Den Abschluss des Treffens bildete die Vorstellung des Fahrsicherheitstrainings auf dem Trainingsgelände in Lehnitz. Herr Tischer und sein Team gaben einen kurzen Abriss über die einzelnen Trainings im Rahmen des Studiums, aber auch in der anschließenden Weiterbildung der Beamten. Danach wurden unsere Gäste selbst ans Steuer gebeten und zeigten ihr Können beim „Bremsen und Ausweichen“ und beim Fahren auf verschiedenen Fahrbahnbelägen.
Als Fazit kann man mit Recht behaupten, dass das Treffen rundum gelungen war, so brachten es auch unsere Gäste bei der Verabschiedung gegenüber Präsident Grieger zum Ausdruck. Die HPol präsentierte sich erneut als erfahrener Gastgeber und konnte einige neue Türen für zukünftige Kooperationen auf internationaler Ebene aufstoßen.
On Friday 2nd October 2015, the Police attachés and Liaison officers of the Embassies in Berlin followed the invitation of the President of the University of Applied Police Sciences of the Federal State of Brandenburg (HPol) once again. The HPol felt honoured being visited by 13 guests from 9 different nations at the HPol. The frequently rotation of the personnel in the Embassies makes it necessary to invite the Police Attachés and Liaison Officers regularly for keeping up the close contact to our partners. Dr. Christe-Zeyse, the Vice President of the HPol, welcomed our guests in the conference room officially the guests could afterwards see the first highlight, the largest boat of the river police of Brandenburg ” WSP-1”. This multi-utility-vessel was moored at the Lehnitz-lock and waiting for a boat trip to Oranienburg city. After a short introduction of the vessel given by the sailors on board the delegation took place in the conference room’s lower deck. The Head of the International Centre gave a presentation about the Brandenburg Police Force in general and the highlights of the HPol in particular.
After a two hours journey the delegation disembarked towards the HPol for having a three course lunch break at the cafeteria. The agenda of the day led the delegation to the “Driving safety Centre” in Lehnitz close to Oranienburg after lunch. Here all the delegates could proof their driving skills under different and difficult ground conditions or how to swerve around obstacles. The President of the HPol afterwards invited the delegation again for the next meeting in 2016 and thanked all Representatives of the Embassies for their good relationship and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
